Site Reliability Engineer


At Levels Beyond, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who has a passion for providing users high availability and stellar performance. Site Reliability Engineers are responsible for keeping our user-facing and other production systems running smoothly. SREs are also deeply collaborative with business leaders in building and running sustainable production systems, which can evolve and adapt quickly to changes in the environment we provide services for.



  • Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
  • Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
  • Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications
  • Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
  • Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
  • Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives


  • 7+ years of application programming in server-side application and database queries
  • 5+ years of experience with full cycle application development (Full SDLC experience: design, development, delivery, etc.),
  • 5+ years of experience with operating systems, container fabrics, computer networking, alerting, and monitoring
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting modern applications using:


This is a salary based position with a pay range expected between 145k - 175k annually based on experience and skillset plus equity in the company (pay for other locations may vary).
